So pleased with the service I received! Felicia the general manager was so professional and so very kind. She throughly explained everything to me and showed me the different unit’s (I was undecided on size I needed) they had available. The facility was very clean and appears to very safe. After considerable research on economical storage units, this is one of the least expensive in PG County. First month is free and the price for a 10×15 is less than $110 a month. Signing up was easy, everything was done on the internet. A code was assigned that opened the gate and the door to the building. Building closes at 10 pm and if you need to go to the bathroom, there is no bathroom available, unless the office is open. The office is only open 10 am to 5 pm. Monday thru Saturday, not open on Sundays. If you have to use the bathroom, You have to drive back up the hill, go through the gate, go into the office and ask permission to use the bathroom. My last storage unit I rented had access to the bathroom from 6 am to 10pm. So, the price was good, but plan ahead accordingly to find another business that is open that will allow you to use their bathrooms if it is after 5 pm.

I thought the process was so smooth that it was too good to be true…..and I was right. When booking the unit, I mentioned it would be a shared unit and the insurance was under a different name from my own. I was told it did not matter whose name appeared on the lease. Less than 24hrs after completing the lease, I receive a phone call stating that the insurance info was not on file (which has been provided in person) and I said no problem and emailed it then was told I would be charged $14 for insurance since it was not in my name and that both parties had to return to redo the leasing process so that the other person’s name was primary. Which reminder, both parties were present the day prior and when we inquired about the names and insurance, were told it didn’t matter. The price of the unit is reasonable with nice units, and the one month free is nice but the error in the leasing process was frustrating. I had to come back and update my review because the GM ms. Felicia saved this from being a one star experience. She resolved the issues and was very pleasant. Appreciate you!

I would love to give the facility 5 stars however, the general manager Felecia is extremely nasty and impatient. She lacks customer service skills and will cause one to change their mind about using this facility. There is one other person there who works one day a week there who is a polar opposite of this general manager. I wish her facility was convenient.

I went to the Self Storage Plus on Livingston Rd. in Oxon Hill, Md. Called them on the phone to begin renting out my storage locker. The lady tells me on the phone that if I provide them with proof of home insurance that they can waive the $14 a month insurance fee. I e-mailed them a copy of my insurance policy. She tells me on the phone it’ll just be $16 a month. I go to the Office the next day and another lady tells me “That’s not how this works. Home insurance won’t cover an off site storage facility. You’re going to have to pay $30 a month, not the $14 figure you were quoted”. If I didn’t need the storage locker so bad I’d have backed out of this. They scam you at this place.

she is a liar and lazy in the office she did not refund my money its already over a month $42 and $295 illegaly charge me and promised to refund 3 to 5 days its already a week not refunding and no receipt email and she said send by mail. lair!! never ever be back here and do business. i encourage all not to patronize this storage because they steal money and not honest. the lady who work is being nasty have the guts to be rude on claiming that they did not charge me bec she lazy to do her job to check on the system now she saw and promised to refund but did not do nothing. lair! i can get my refund same day bec i got 5 storages in the area. stupid worker! should be fired of being lazy and lair and not honest rude. thats how i describe how i being treated of this bad person. i called corporate and call 911 so people will not scam again
