Ms Powers customer service was professional. She went above and beyond to help with a very difficult situation. My family is grateful and very happy with the service she provided. I arrived at Saturday @ 4:05pm to sign for the unit I booked. The door stated that they would be back at 4:30pm. She arrived back at 4:35pm(in her car). I walked in told her why I was there. I received no acknowledgment as to my wait or explanation to why the office was not open & available during your posted hours. She reviewed my paperwork that I did on line. Told me I would pay the a fee & insurance of $42 and then confirm my rate per month $80 • $14= $94 for auto pay. She informed me that within 6 months I could expect a rent increase. Then she gave me a card with the keypad number to be used to enter the building. We walked down used the keypad went to the second floor. She opened the locker to fine 2 pieces of furniture left in the unit after an a Auction. She said she would have them removed but I would have to come back on Sunday to move my things in and place my lock on the unit. Which wasn’t Convenient at all! But was not given a choice. Oh well. Returned on Sunday and was able to move in my unit and place my lock. I

Extremely unhappy with this place they make everything sound good with the first month free and of course they beat everyone’s prices in town but they charge you your first rent within the first month. Then after the first six months the rent sky rockets and goes up $50 a month for each of my units and I have 2 of them there. So now once they have all my stuff moved In there they want to raise the price higher than other business in the area that I could’ve went with in the first place. When I called customer service they said the rent goes up every 6 months and it will happen to go again and again. This is definitely not a place I will return too. And also I’m sorry but 80 degrees is not a acceptable climate controlled temperature it is humid and sticky feeling in there facilities at this temperature. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND LOOK ELSEWHERE WHEN WANTING A STORAGE UNIT!!

I initially wanted to rent a storage unit at this facility because it was so close to my house. I wanted to get the memorial Day special that was only offered online. I tried to go into the facility to see the unit to make sure it was the size I need before I rented it online but the door was locked. This was on a Tuesday at 1:30. I called and of course it wasn’t to this facility it was a call center. They had someone call me back and I made arrangements to go in the following day to look at the unit.. I found a unit good for me and the lady said that she would put a hold on it and somebody would call me so I could get the online rate and she would be there Saturday if I had any issues.. No one ever called me.. so I go in Saturday at 1130am to ask what the deal was and the door was locked yet again! I called twice… Left voicemails and still no one has called me back after a week. Horrible customer service. Would not recommend to anyone.

Unfortunately, my experience with Self Storage Plus did not turn out to be a pleasant one. I rented two storage units and the second one they charged me full rent,for a unit I moved out of a days after the start of the billing cycle. This contractual provision is very UNETHICAL and should be changed to reflect a prorated amount,if the occupant did not rent the unit pass the first full week. Also, they allege they gave a full month free, but was charged for the storage unit, 30 days later, like the unit was never free. When you first rent a unit your not paying upfront. You only pay the move-in rental fee, not the whole rental amount. You are charged after the FIRST 30 days, but my first month was suppose to be free? If the first month was free, the actual rental and billing cycle of the storage unit ,should not have started until after May 24,when the billing cycle . Instead,I am charged at the end of the 30 days. That is NOT one month free. Additionally, the the unit was not climate controlled, as the actual area where the unit sits felt like a stuffy 80 degrees and its not even summer yet. Lastly, they went up $45 dollars on the rent, after only renting the first storage unit, 6 months after initially renting the space in the first place. Once I move out I will not ever use Self Storage Plus again.

Go anywhere, but here-a shack on the side of the street would probably secure your stuff better than this facility. My stuff was stolen out of my storage unit twice under their watch. Their cameras capture nothing except for exits so be very careful if your stuff Is being stored here!!! Not to mention We bought the air controlled unit! Oh, and don’t let me forget Erica, the queen of lying that I guess is the manager now with this facility that provides false statements to the insurance company when your stuff is stolen!!!

This location has been the worse experience I have encountered during my entire active duty service. I have had my payments set up on ACH since the beginning. However, every other month they call me or send an email stating my payment has not been received. Apparently the individuals at this location didn’t have knowledge this location changed their policy and no longer take ACH. Just this past week, the individual I spoke with told me to go on their website and set it up again. So I did. I get another email with the late fee and I call again. I have left messages and had the call center send an email. Also, I was supposed to get the military rate, when I noticed the error on my contract that says I am NOT military. Beyond Frustrated.
