Kathleen, the onsite manager is great to work with and the reason I have stayed with Self Storage Plus, who took over the business last year! She is very professional and courteous in all of my dealings with her.
Great rates, convenient location and courteous staff. They had the month free deal and immediate availability which was what I needed in a pinch. I left a star off because their reservation service said they had an outside access unit but when I got there they said that for the size I wanted it was indoor, down a narrow hallway with a lip at the front that was hard to get a dolly over. Their reservation service needs to get on the same page, but other than that it's been a good experience so far.
The management here is simply awesome. Centrally located in Daytona Beach. Easy to get in and out of. Very clean and secure. Would recommend them over the Giant big box corporations for sure.

I have been renting a storage unit at the Daytona Beach facility for a few years now and I have nothing but good things to say about the on site managers Gary and Kathleen. I moved to this U-Store after renting from Public Storage where I was extremely disappointed with how they view and treat customers. Gary and Kathleen at the U-Store Daytona Beach location are very friendly and helpful and keep a nice and clean well maintained facility.
This particular facility is operated by wonderful compassionate individuals who take a personal interest in the property, keeping it safe, secure and meticulously maintained. The driving surfaces are kept free of debris unlike other storage facilities that do not monitor damaging surface debris dropped by tenants like nails, screws or things that may damage a tire; that is never a problem here. If you are storing a classic automobile this is a critical issue. Safe, secure, well maintained, always someone on site, great communication by management.
This place is amazing all around great staff couldnt ask nothing more... U store is very highly recommend.
