Where are your storage facilities located?

Our facilities can be found in the states of Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Florida. We are always expanding so be sure to check back to see when we’ll be in your area! Explore our locations and find your nearest Self Storage Plus facility today.

How do I pay for my storage unit?

Our advanced online bill pay makes it easy for you to pay wherever and whenever. Simply select which location you have your belongings in, click “Pay Online,” sign in to your account, and pay your bill!

In addition, we offer Plus Leasing, a contactless rental option that allows you to choose your location and unit type all from the comfort of your own home. You can also read about our insurance policies and enroll in autopay during this process.

What size storage unit will I need?

Self Storage Plus offers a variety of storage unit sizes. Depending on how many items you need to store and how big they are, our storage size guide can help you determine what size storage unit you need.

Do you offer vehicle storage?

Yes, we do have storage for any of your vehicles. Common vehicles we see people store with us are cars, motorcycles, RVs, and boats. Call your local self storage facility for more information and availability.

Are your storage units climate controlled?

Yes! Our storage facilities offer indoor climate-controlled storage units. We also have additional resources about climate control if you’d like to learn more about this convenient feature.

Do you offer any specials for your storage?

Yes, we offer monthly specials for each storage facility. Additionally, we show appreciation towards the men and women who serve our country by offering a military discount.

When are your storage facilities open?

Our storage facilities are open seven days a week. Our storage unit access hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and our front offices are open during the following times:

  • Monday – Friday: 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 
  • Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.*

Do you offer moving services?

We do not offer moving services, but the store manager can help offer recommendations. Please give us a call.

What is my gate code?

Gate codes are unique to each customer and are assigned at check-in. For assistance with your code please contact your store manager.

Do you sell boxes and moving supplies?

We offer a variety of boxes, tape, bubble wrap, and packing paper. Please give us a call, so we can help you find the moving supplies that fit your needs.

Do you have storage unit auctions?

Yes, we do! We post our auctions online for your convenience.

Where can I access my storage unit?

You can access your unit seven days a week during our gate hours from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. as long as you have your gate access code.

Can I access my unit during the holidays?

Yes, you can still access your unit during holidays from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. with your gate access code.

Do you require tenant insurance?

Yes, Insurance is required. We offer four levels of coverage limits under the program: $3,000, $4,000, or $5,000. Monthly premiums are $12, $14, or $16, depending on the policy limit you choose.

Do your storage units feature electricity?

Our units do not have electrical outlets in the units.

What is your cancellation policy for renting self storage?

We ask that you provide written notice 10 days prior to the end of your lease term.

What happens if I forget to pay my storage unit rent?

We try our hardest to keep you notified of when your rent is due and if and when late fees will occur. If you are having trouble paying your rent please contact your local office.

Do you require a deposit for self storage?

There is no deposit required however, we do require an administration fee.

What happens if I’m accidentally locked out of my unit?

Please see the store manager, or call your stores’ phone number for assistance.

Do you offer referral discounts?

Already a customer? Refer a friend and receive $25 towards your rent!

Do you offer military discounts?

We offer a 5% discount for active-duty military personnel.
