Edit/Update - Despite some issues in 2021, I am generally happy with my unit rental. The building is new, clean, well-climate controlled, and the staff have been doing a decent job the past year. Old review: Great customer service and a fantastic facility! I needed to store some furniture during a move overseas. The folks here have been extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We enquired with a few places in the panhandle and we felt Self Storage Plus offered the best mix of affordable prices and facility security/quality compared to everyone else.

I never needed a storage unit until now so I was basically clueless as to what I would need. I went online to read reviews for self storage near me. Several places popped up But Self Storage Plus had the best reviews. I went to inquire about what I needed as well as cost. I met Carla, the Manager, whom I read many great reviews about. I was so impressed with her attitude and helpfulness. I explained to her what I needed to store and that it may be for an extended term. Carla explained the different types of units available. She showed me the size she thought I might need. I rented a unit right then. The property is completely fenced in with access through a gate with your code. The property is Very Clean and Well maintained. I would recommend this place to anyone in need of storage space. Thanks Carla

This is my first time ever renting a storage unit and it has been a pleasant experience at Self Storage Plus in Martinsburg. Carla got us all set up with our unit and even when she wasn’t there and they had to change our unit she left a note for the girl working! I think we will love this place! We needed a small unit because we are expecting our first baby and need to move some things out of our small house.

It was little odd that the door was lock to office but other than that it was so nice.. It is still new and the woman who helped me finish the process was super nice helpful and professional.. I wish I had gotten her name ?

I love these people! They were able to help me out quickly & efficiently. I called them on the weekend & they got me set up over the phone & emailed me the paperwork. The units are individually lit so I can see what I'm doing, even at night. The property itself is well lit and clean. It's great location. Although GPS is troublesome right now but that's not their fault.

Carla was simply amazing. Her customer service was 10/10. both of the staff members worked together to help me and make sure I was set up and happy. I can’t thank them enough. The facilities look very clean and it seems the employees care a lot about keeping things safe and tidy.

We walked in unexpectedly, and within 45 minutes we had our unit, papers signed, information exchanged, and out the door to continue on with the rest of our day. Could not have asked for better! From start to finish- outstanding customer service, extremely knowledgeable with all offerings, pricing, and what would suit us best; facility is VERY clean. I am extremely pleased with the choose we made for a storage unit. Dan, the General Manager who helped us this past weekend, kudos to his exemplary customer service. Carla and Dan were very friendly and helpful. It was wonderful to hear Carla as caring and pleasant after a long trip. She was professional, sympathetic and understanding. The facility is clean and well lit. I feel that my storage items are safe and secure. Although the price is a little higher than I would have liked, it is only for a couple of months.
